Hello Garden, DIYers and Crafters!
I'm excited to share my journey from novice gardener to certified Master Gardener and creative garden designer. As someone who loves both the science and artistry of growing, I've learned to blend traditional gardening wisdom with imaginative design.
My adventure began with a few tomato plants in Virginia, flourished in California's perfect weather with vertical gardens, and now thrives in Oregon's shady Zone 8b where I've thrown out the rulebook on traditional vegetable gardens.
My Garden Today
Instead of typical rows of raised beds, I create themed garden experiences that grow food while delighting the senses. Picture:
- Coffin-shaped beds in a spooky Skeleton Garden
- A mysterious Bigfoot retreat tucked in the shade
- A Dinosaur garden where prehistoric-looking plants mingle with modern vegetables
All these spaces are thoughtfully designed to thrive in either the shade of our trees, or in the sun.
